It is important to know something about the physical development does not take place in a vacuum. Physical development sets limits on the kinds of her enviranment, and body may also affect her vary views.
Height changes are rapid during the first year of life and steady rate of increase until adolescence, when there is a sharp increasing rate. .
Muscle dignity and muscle fiber¢¥s length increase specifically during adolescence. Bones hardening ? in sequence, first in the hands and arms, then in the feet and legs.
During the first year or two of life, myelinization of the nerves and an increase in the number and density of brain cells being the very important part.
The brain develops with perceptual areas first, followed by motor areas.
Although some practice is nceded just to maintain the organism, maturation is the most important process underlying all physical growth and development.
Adolescence period, the hormonal influence is very important. In girls estrogen increase rather sharply and becomes cyclic, producing the menstrual cycle. In boys there is a sharp increase in the production of testosterone, leading to the development of the reproductive system in boys. Increases in the sex hormones are themselves triggered by activating hormones released in larger quantities by the pituitary gland.
In general, larger, faster-developing children are more likely to be leaders in their groups.
What we don¢¥t know is whether or not both the personality characteristics and the differences in physique come from the same kinds of hormone differences.
